E-Design is a simple, virtual design option offered to give clients the opportunity to create a custom room without retaining Margaret Stone Interiors for full service interior design. All communication is done via E-mail to provide a step by step plan for creating a space that meets your individual style, space, and budget. Essentially, I provide you with the resources and you do the rest! After creating your design plan and room concept boards, I'll provide you with a list of what to buy and where to purchase it. Included in this package is the opportunity to buy custom textiles and pillows, custom furniture, draperies, as well as to-the-trade-only lighting and furnishings. I can also suggest retail only items, if this is more in line with your budget.
We will get started with an online client questionnaire so I can gather information about your project needs, your design goals and what you envision for your space. This is also a chance for me to get to know you a little better, which will make your space feel personal!
After answering a few questions, you will take measurements and photographs of your space to ensure your selections will fit within the space. Don't worry- I will provide you with a guide on how to complete this step!
Once we establish the budget and direction of the design, I will create a thorough design plan which includes the following:

Lastly, I organize all of the design rationale, selections, layout instructions, and links into a comprehensive e-design plan that will serve as a do-it-yourself guide to implementing the design yourself!
